Specificity and self improvement cannot in the least be divorced from self improvement and so that has been the fact of the natural law since the dawn of creation and so it will always be as long as the earth revolves around the sun or rather till the world continue to be the principal habitat form humanity.
By saying that an object is dynamic, it means it specifically harbors an inherent power, moving ahead dexterously, following the natural direction, making the necessary waves, achieving the intended results and recording satisfactory performances to one’s admiration. The reason is not at all farfetched why everybody no matter the station of life wants to make a serious headway in his or her life pursuit and get very brilliant results in whatever endeavor in which one is diligently engaged.
Whichever way one may look at it, one may be going through a blind alley or beating about the bush and far from being successful unless the intended goals are made very clear and being specific. Whatever may be your goals and aspiration in life, it is quite necessary that you make your intentions to be very clear, well defined, unambiguous, highly precise and straight to the point.
The reason why many people fail in life is because they fail to go to the drawing board and plan their way thoroughly before setting out to achieve their aims and objectives and that buttress the point of the common saying that whoever fails to plan always plans to fail and there is no way you can operate generally and not achieve the same general result just like anyone else.
In any project or task upon which you want to embark, always ensure that you take adequate time to study the issue properly and get the points very clear before putting a step forward and failing to do that the tendency is there for one to fail woefully with much regrets and sorrow. If it is quite necessary to repeat the endeavor as many times as possible, just go ahead and be sure that you have a vivid imagination of your destination.
The right way to start the process is by drawing up the plan of your well defined project on a sheet of paper bearing in mind that until you succeed in getting to know where you are going on paper, the possibility of your success on the field is quite remote. This means that, it is quite important for you to go to the drawing board first and brainstorm in a considerable length of time on the prospective way ahead.
You should take cognizance of the fact that all the imposing buildings and structures you come across in the urban areas, the wonderful roads and bridges constructed by the engineers were all diligently sketched out first of all on the drawing board before the diligent construction ever started.
Once you get this done, the next step is to follow up the plans you have made for yourself and if you try no matter how hard to achieve your goal, just go back to the board and plan again until you start recording the needed result. One more thing here, you just must let your whole attention and resources be attached to your self-set goals and aspiration.

Without Problems Expect No Prospects
No problems no prospects, o yes, that is an unchangeable fact of life since the dawn of creation and so it will be till nothing exists on earth again. In one word, there is no way we can run away from the altruism that problems and prospects are both part and parcel of our existence. Whichever way one looks at it, opportunities and difficulties are the same bedfellow or Siamese twins if you like it that way meaning that it is not possible to enjoy one and wish away the other no matter how hard you may try.
We must be taking a gloomy path of deceit if we pray against an encounter with problems because whether we like it or not, they will still come our way because they are part of natural existence, The best thing we can do under any circumstance is to look for both the immediate and remote solutions to them so that we may not be victims of the same issues that have given us some unexpected and awful backwardness since it is not possible for us to prevent them from happening it is always a matter of wisdom for us to always plan ahead for the solutions.
It is quite hard for some people to realize that challenges of life are never intended to destabilize or lead them to a path of destruction but to make them wiser and fit to face other more serious challenges as they surface. Problems are naturally designed to test our will, teach us the better way to put on our thinking cap and invent solutions to the best of our ability so that we may move ahead in life and pursue our individual vocations and callings.
Some people may not also know that solutions to individual problems help to bring the best out of them under any given circumstance and that is the reason why it is said that necessity is the mother of invention. Surely if there are no problems prospects will just be a matter of wishful thinking and so if there are not challenges that toughen our way of life, there can be no remarkable change in the way we deal with issues just like if there are no tests of our faith there can be no testimony for us to give as a very important lesson for those who are yet to undergo the same experiences like ours.
One thing that is quite sure in life is for anyone to be great in life no matter the area of calling, profession or career, the person must be ready, willing and able to face exceptional challenges and solve great commensurate problems. Victors, as we all know, are war heroes and what make them very outstanding of the general crowd in the estimation of people is the number of battles they have been able to win and the number of medals they have acquired.
Whenever any problem or challenge occurs, it is not a good idea to fret but confront it squarely because anything you cannot confront you cannot conquer. The first thing is to find out what it is all about and face it with best of your ability since there can be no prospects without problems.

Why Worry is not the Answer
Why worry and for what reason? If it is not for a matter of pride and self deceit, we just cannot run away from the fact that there are so many things in and around our environments over which have no iota of control. In order to make this point clearer, it goes without saying that we have no control over the choice of the human person that brought us to this side of the great terrestrial divide as well as our country of origin.
It is quite also incontestable that we have no control over the sex of an unborn baby despite the proof of the current scientific manipulation of the birth process just like the possibility for us to control the sun, the moon, the rain and the wind. Anyone who wants to put a control tab on the seasons, winter, autumn, summer and spring is wasting his or her time since that is the sole prerogative of the nature since the world came into existence a billion of years ago. Has there been anyone with total manipulation of any other person’s soul even his or her children? That is not at all possible because once he or she become an adult; it is left to him or her to use the God given talents for the purpose of taking decisions in accordance with his or her sense and sensibility.
If we go by this same line of thinking, no one is given any power of control over things and events that happen not in his or her country but also in the immediate environment. The major frustration and challenge facing any normal human being today is the feeling of knowing so many things that are wrong as well as the apparent solutions but far from having the way and manner of correcting them.
As good point of self development, it is not ideal to worry over issues, matters and challenges that are far beyond one’s control, Whether you like it or not, the only thing worry can do for you is to wear you out without leading you to any positive change on the apparent possible situation. As parents, we worry so much over our children particularly their future self development while this should not be the case leaving that aspect in the hands of God.
If you do not know it, worry kills on a gradual basis so it is better stopped if we do not want to suffer from its untoward consequences which might be death if care is not taken. Whatever may be our situation, challenges and problems in life and in whatever situation we may find ourselves, it is always good for us to do our best and leave the rest to posterity which is the final arbiter.
Since it is not quite possible for any normal human being to be an island to him or herself, each and everyone of us is whether we like it or not saddled with a responsibility at times beyond which we can cope so all we have to do is our best in the circumstance and leave the rest. Just do what you can and hand over the one you cannot to the Almighty so there is no need to worry.

How To Understand Your Goals in Life
Life, according to what the revered Late Chief Jeremiah Obafemi Awolowo, the erudite Nigerian statesman and the first Premier of Western Nigeria whose avowed political opponents tagged as the best President the country never had said many years ago when he was alive, is not a bed of roses but the courage you bring into it. This was due to the gruesome experience he went through in his youth and formative years. Here was a man who rose from the bottom pit of adversity to a great factor to reckon and without whose indelible effort, the nation would not have been what it is today as the indisputable ‘giant of Africa’.
During his year of the locust, he was a hewer of wood and fetcher of water to the general public in the greater Nigerian community, the exercise in which he was engaged to enable him educate himself since his father, the pillar of his support, passed away when he was nine years old. He did not allow the wanton adversity to stand on his way right from that tender age and when he became an adult, he never succumbed to the wiled and guiles of natural adversity. Mention any great landmark infrastructure and social welfare opportunities in his part of the country even up till today, his name is always a recurrent decimal in anything first. He it was that initiated the first television station in the whole continent of Africa, the first radio broadcasting station, the first football stadium, the first industrial estate as well as the first tallest building in the country which he named ‘Cocoa House’ the edifice that has remained a very great monument for the past 56 years.
According to him, the purpose of introducing free education for the children less than 18 years in the part of the country that he governed as Premier between 1952 and 1959 was to ensure that the then young Nigerians who he identified as the leaders of the country in the future were liberated from the shackles of disease, wants and ignorance. The reason is therefore not farfetched why he remained a second to none icon and the greatest colossus that the nation of Nigeria has ever produced since its amalgamation by our erstwhile colonial masters in 1914. The following points are the major fundamental philosophies he propounded in his life time.
Goals in life:
He was of the strong view that the problem with many people is that they do not know what they want in life. It stands to reason that if you can establish your vision and focus very clearly, half of your life time problem is solved. By this very fact, whatever is not in line with your pursuit should not be entertained.
Knowledge is power:
Since it is said that reading makes a man or woman, there is no way you can avoid being a good reader and do that with a view to learning and being broad minded. It is quite important to develop the habit of the reading culture. The point is very clear that if you are in love with books, there is hardly anything that someone may bring or say that you will not be armed with facts to either corroborate or jettisoned. Since ignorance is a disease, people in that category are the most vulnerable because they embrace whatever comes to them hook, line and sinker so for you to make any headway in your terrestrial journey, you must understand your goal in life.

How What You Hear Turns Your Life Around
What you hear turns your life around; yes that is an undisputable fact for a vital existence whatever may be your station of life so it is quite important that you do not attach too much importance to whatever comes to your hearing or any issue to which you grant an audience. If you are someone that cherishes listening to a lie, there is always a strong tendency that you will eventually believe it to your unfortunate detriment.
If all the same, you like to believe and hold on to the truth, the effect on your human behavior will be quite outstanding within and outside your immediate environment. This means that whatever you hear is what you believe and what you believe is what you behave and what you behave is what you will ultimately become. How we hear information and the way we process it in our mind is so important because there is no way it will not profoundly affect our way of life whether we like it or not.
As it is generally said, information normally brings information and that is when it contains some positive life-changing elements. If, on the other hand, we are confronted by negative or wrong information the untoward consequence is inevitable deformation in its entire ramification. This is the reason why the Holy Book says faith comes by hearing but we should always be mindful of the fact that fear also can emanate from the same form of information.
While it is not, in any way, possible to stop lies and falsehood from spreading like a wildfire in the harmartan season, all we do to be on the safe side is to prevent them from being established in our natural psyche. The best way out is to screen every information that comes our way no matter the source or origin before retaining or rejecting them either wholly or partially.
The normal life long experience has shown that it is not everything that people say, write, preach or teach that contains so much an element of the truth and this is the reason why many lives, homes, relationships, ministries and societies have undergone undeserved fatal trauma or total destruction on the basis of wrong information and beliefs. By this very fact, it is up to you not believe a lie, if you dare do, you will be leading a wrong life and should that be the case, you might have your destiny aborted.
It is always good to find out the source of every information that happens to come your way since that is always as credible as the origin. Should it be from a book, album, tape message, doctrine, philosophy, religion to mention just a few, you should, first of all, find out what led to it and who initiated it. If you realize that the source is doubtful, unknown or discredited, just shun it as you would a plague this is because wrong information can lead to wrong destination this is because what you hear normally turns you around either for good or for bad.

Never Sit On the Fence
Sitting on the fence is a situation whereby you do not want to get involved in a matter no matter the urgency or importance owing to a baseless imagination that you might get yourself harmed morally, physically and mentally. This can, particularly be, when you are faced or challenged by two contending forces from which you have to, to take a stand whether you like it or not.
Whatever may be the nature of challenges or circumstances facing us either as an individual or group, there are always situations and moments around us that expressly demand that we take a stand either good or bad. It, however, stands to reason that on such inevitable occasions we normally nurse the fear that our alignment with a particular side might be risky while being non-aligned may induce a very fatal consequence. It is quite reasonable that what matters in this case is to be a man or woman who just must take wise decisions in order to save our face and maintain our dignity.
The virtue we must not fail to imbibe at any point is to recognize the fact that our life is normally a sum of whatever decisions we are tended to take daily whether good or bad. There are, no doubt, some people who cannot and are always afraid to take decisions on their own just for the fear of an imaginary failure while ignoring the fact that not making up their minds at the right time may result to an ill-wind that will never blow them any good.
No matter what the challenge or the situation may be, it is not always good to sit on the fence and for you to stay on top of such position; you just must be involved in whatever of direct or indirect concern to you and let your presence be felt in your very unavoidable area of jurisdiction. It is equally important to embrace the courage of speaking out and acting decisively whenever the issues at stake concerns you and will affect you whether you like it or not.
The first step to take all the time is to be well informed of the situation and find out the truth before taking any action. It is quite necessary to be mindful of the fact that actions based on hearsay, wrong information, insinuation, suspicion, half-truths and outright falsehood are always counter-productive and back fire mostly in a fatal manner. So it is quite inevitable to always look before you leap by being armed with facts and figures. Most people react to issues about which they know little or nothing and they pay dearly for it in return.
The point here is that you must not be afraid to take decisions and be bold enough to speak and stand out on any issue you know is right because those who cannot stand for something normally fall for anything. It must always be borne in mind that no matter what anybody may say or do the truth always prevails. That being the case, always decide for the truth and stand by it and also be mindful of the fact that you must not sit on the fence.

Animosity – the devourer of life and peace
Animosity, whether we like it or not is the greatest cankerworm that devours a human life in its entirety and that is the reason why any right thinking human being must flee from it like a plague. The reason why all true and devoted practitioners of Christianity or any religion for that matter should always be mindful of the fact that it is quite dangerous to harbor ill feeling or disaffection against one another no matter the level and intensity of the unrighteousness that may be inflicted on us.
The word of God, of course, is not mistaken when it admonishes all practitioners of the Christian faith that they should be angry but not engaged in any form of sin or another and they should not allow the sun to set over any issue that may be the source of their anger. The reason for this is not at all farfetched since it is quite common that whenever the sun sets, the night falls and sooner or later we go to sleep. We are all quite aware of the fact that once we lie down on our beds and close our eyes for the inevitable sleep, it takes nothing but the grace of the Almighty God for us to see the light of the following day.
Did you imagine a scene whereby someone sleeps with animosity against another person while he or she goes to bed and unfortunately it was not possible for him or her to wake up again the following day by heeding to the call of your Creator, did you ever imagine what would happen to such a person? It goes without saying that any time you harbor anger, hurt, hatred, bitterness, unforgiveness and carry same to the grave what kind of life hereafter would you expect as your portion in the next hereafter? According to the findings of some erudite philosophers, it is always one’s last state of mind that determines the direction of that person wherever he or she may find herself in the next life dispensation.
It is not only too risky but dangerous for one to bear animosity in the heart for quite a long time and it has always been an ill-wind that has never blown anyone any good no matter how hard the person may try. It happens that there are couples who would not talk to each other because of some little domestic irrelevant misunderstandings despite their strong awareness that there is no way one person would not step on the toes of the other once they stay under the same roof. The only way out for one is to bear it in mind that conflict is always one of the most indispensable social ingredients that make life interesting and there is no way it will never happen once human beings share their common destiny together..
If you want to uphold a life of peace and harmony, it is quite necessary that you learn to forget hurts quickly. You may find this piece of advice too bitter a pill to swallow since it is possible that there are some people you no longer can relate with because of their past misdeeds to you but once you are conscious of the fact that you do worse things to God despite his kindness, love and care for you all the time. The most important point for you here is that you must always do away with animosity since it devours not only your peace but eventually your life.
